Welcome to the Helen Atkin Group, Riding for the Disabled website.

We are a voluntary group that provides riding therapy for local disabled children and adults using selected horses and ponies. We work from the Buxton Riding School, Fern Farm, London Rd, Buxton, SK17 9NP with riders from local schools and adult centres.

Responsibly Sauced’s eclectic mix of blues and rock classics adds to Simon Mercer‘s organ music and performances by Peak District Music Centres Junior Choir, Katy Allan (Soprano & Opera Singer) and Take Two (Janette and Colin Sykes, vocals & keyboard) to create a fantastic musical extravaganza!

Doors open 1:30pm; interval refreshments available. Local charities being supported by the Concert are: Blythe House Hospice, Buxton’s Helen Atkin Riding for The Disabled Group, Connex Community Support, and Zink (Zink and High Peak Foodbank).
